Yemen is facing one of the world’s worst food crises, with over 18 million people struggling to find their next meal. Children are suffering the most, with millions facing severe malnutrition. As hunger rises and aid declines, vulnerable families—especially orphans—need urgent support to survive. Estijabah team is on the ground, and your support provides food, water, and hope to those who need it most.
Protect yourselves from Hell-fire even by giving a piece of a date as charity.”
— Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) — Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 14146
We hunger not just for food, but for home,
A place where we’re safe, where we’re free to roam.
All we ask is a chance to learn and play,
To simply have a childhood, like every child should someday.
In Yemen, the humanitarian crisis has reached a catastrophic scale for the youngest generation. A child dies every ten minutes from preventable causes, while 9 million children live in extreme poverty.
Currently, over 600,000 children under the age of five suffer from acute malnutrition, with 120,000 of those cases classified as severe. This cycle of starvation is so pervasive that many infants are born malnourished, inheriting a life of hunger from the moment of birth.
Our previous projects in Yemen :
Food Security, Winter Relief, Shelter, Water & Health Centre
While our past campaigns have been successful, we’ve come to understand that one-time projects only provide short-term relief. In contrast, ongoing initiatives—where you can pledge a set amount each month—offer a lasting solution.
By donating just $10 every month, you can help us continuously provide food, clothing, clean water, medical aid, and shelter to Yemen’s most vulnerable. Your monthly support ensures that they have the resources not only to survive but to heal, rebuild, and take steps toward a brighter future.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “If a person relieves a Muslim of his trouble, Allah will relieve him of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection”.
Despite everything — there is still hope.
Estijabah is one of the largest organizations actively working in Yemen.
In collaboration with renowned partners like UNICEF, the Kuwait Society for Relief, and the Yemen Humanitarian Fund, we’ve been delivering vital aid—nutrition, clean water, safety, and healthcare—to the most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters in Yemen, ensuring that the support we provide is sustainable for the long term.
Established on July 20, 2015, Estijabah is a local Yemeni non-governmental organization that covers all governorates of the Republic of Yemen through its executive offices, delegates, and partners from institutions and bodies interested in humanitarian, developmental, and relief work.
The Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian and Relief Works has been officially registered with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs as one of the institutions and bodies accredited by the Humanitarian Work Team at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry. It is also represented by the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Relief Authority/
With our slogan being “Responding to the Call of Life,” we are one of the biggest charities in Yemen and have partnered with various UN entities to focus on the humanitarian, developmental, and relief fields in Yemen.
To date, we have helped raise more than $10 million to support many projects and initiatives, both local and global. This includes building masajid, supporting education programs and Islamic centres, and assisting in relief efforts to help provide relief to thousands of families surviving through crises across the world.
